Leeda presents Leeda’s World

Leeda, originally from Germany, found her first footsteps in the underground house music scene as a dancer while living in New York.

By the time she moved to London in 2010, she’d already made all the right contacts, which meant it didn’t take long to find the proper club nights, and she could make a name for herself in the club scene.

Surrounded by incredible DJs and producers, she started to explore DJing in 2013 but hasn’t fully dived into it until 2020, making her first international appearances in 2023 at festivals such as Shapes (Leysin & Zakynthos) as well as Mi Casa Holiday in Mexico.

In 2019, she also launched her hip-hop club night entitled “Stomping Ground” alongside DJ Mr. Thing, which she curates and promotes. She’s gained a significant following in the underground hip-hop club scene since.

Although a hip-hop head at heart, her musical inspiration for House music comes from the underground house club scene in NYC and the many years of dancing to house music across the globe, through which she gained deep musical knowledge and knows exactly what gets your body moving.

She’s drawn inspiration from various DJs and producers such as Louie Vega, Black Coffee, Shimza, and Timmy Regisford, which she’s incorporating into her sound as she takes you on a musical journey from soulful, Deep to Afro house.
