The interest in DJing manifested itself in the earlier years in the form of compilations put together over the years from his extensive library. In later years, after moving to Houston, he would finally master the turntables and don the name “NIMBUS”. This name represents the power and soothing nature of his music in comparison to a thunderstorm cloud aka “THE NIMBUS”. His musical palate spans from Acid Jazz, Lounge, Downtempo, underground Hip Hop, broken beat. He resonates most in House music. Whether it be Disco, Deep, Classics, Soulful, Latin, Tribal, or other sub-genres. Whatever genre, DJ NIMBUS has the range to cover it all and blend multiple formats in an artistic manner to keep your body moving!
DJ NIMBUS has performed across the United States, as well as international locations. Such places as Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, Turks & Caicos Islands, and Nassau, Bahamas. He has shared many stages with headliners and celebrities in the course of his career. Some of those people range from President Obama, Erykah Badu, Rakim, Black Thought of The Roots, Ali Shaheed Muhammad of “A Tribe Called Quest”, and many others. Some of the events partaken are in the range from WMC, Mi Casa Holiday, International Soul Music Summit.
