Throughout the past eight years, Andrew Fetch has been redefining dance music, molding his own unique style and versatile sound into an atmosphere of beat-driven bliss.
Listeners and dancers alike will transcend to a world that is deeply rooted in underground culture, yet still dripping with glitter and glamour. Delivering a tasty palate of tunes accompanied by sweet melodies, crisp basslines, and juicy rhythms, Andrew serves up a delicious array of modern classics always leaving his audience hungry for more. It is with this persistence and pure love for the music that he has had opportunities to open for The Crystal Method, Big Gigantic, Shelley Johannson, Nadastrom, Crissy Criss, and Emancipator Ensemble among others. He also joined the festival circuit in 2017, playing for forward-thinking and tech-centric Moogfest in Durham, NC. Now located near Philadelphia, Andrew Fetch has landed his first residency at The Barbary, playing for Fold Theory’s monthly party “Shameless”, every second Friday of the month.
Having just started down the road to creating his own productions, it’s difficult to say where this new venture will take him. The only certainty in Andrew’s electronic explorations and sonic manipulations is to experience this musical journey he creates first-hand, whether that’s on the dancefloor or in the headphones. Through Andrew’s soundscapes both played and created, all roads lead back to the music and he will stay the course no matter the distance or what stands in the way.
Deeply rooted in North Carolina’s electronic music scene, Durham-based DJ and producer Treee City is a founding member of Durham’s Party Illegal soundsystem and has released on labels Raund Haus and Maison Fauna. He has performed at festivals like Moogfest, Hopscotch, and Slingshot.
